Nick Saban buys two Mercedes Benz dealerships in $650 million deal

Nick Saban will go down as one of the greatest college football coaches of all time, and he very well may be the greatest.

With that said, even someone as prolific as Saban has side hustles. No, the seven-time national champion isn't driving for Uber or delivering fast food on the weekends. He has become a bit of a prolific investor in luxury car dealerships, though.

He has been part of the ownership group for multiple Mercedes dealerships, including locations in Alabama, Louisiana and Texas.

Per AL.com, Saban's luxury car empire is now expanding into Florida.

The legendary head coach and his business partners have purchased a Mercedes Benz dealership in Coral Gables and another in Cutler Bay.

According to Automotive News, the sale was valued at over $650 million. It also included an auto repair shop and a former police headquarters building.

When Saban,72, does eventually hang up his whistle, he'll undoubtedly go down as one of the highest-paid college coaches of all time. He's currently the highest-paid coach in the country, earning $11,407,000 this season alone.

Factor in what appears to be many savvy business partnerships as well, and it's safe to say that Saban has established generational wealth for his family.
