"Nothing But A Winner," a feature documentary about the history of Alabama Crimson Tide football, is coming to theaters on July 31. The film is produced by former Alabama star Marlon Humphrey and his sister Breona Humphrey and chronicles the rise of the college football powerhouse through the lens of two of its most iconic coaches: Bear Bryant and Nick Saban.

In response to the film trailer posted to social media, Kristen Saban, Nick Saban's adopted daughter, shared her excitement for the upcoming documentary in an Instagram comment.

"Yessss ❤️," said Kristen, who is a member of the board of directors of Nick's Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization started by Nick and his wife, Terry Saban.

The film's title refers to a famous quotation attributed to Bryant where he said of himself, "I ain't never been nothing but a winner."

A book titled "I Ain't Never Been Nothing but a Winner" was published in 2000. It collected notable quotes from Bryant, who passed away in 1983 at the age of 69.

In a synopsis from the film's official site, "Bear Bryant and Coach Nick Saban – who, in very different eras, built a culture defined not just by winning, but by relentless transformation.

"Told through the first-hand accounts of players who lived it, Nothing But A Winner reveals how Alabama’s program forged unrefined 18-year-olds into disciplined leaders, where overcoming obstacles off the field fuels greatness on it. Spanning generations, social upheavals and championship runs, one thing remains the same – at Alabama, if you buy in to this process, you’re destined to be nothing but a winner."

The trailer includes several notable Crimson Tide alumni who were interviewed to tell the story of the storied program, including coach Saban, Philadelphia Eagles stars Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith, former Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome, veteran linebacker C.J. Mosley, Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy and several others.

Alabama's football program dates back to 1892. The Crimson Tide has 18 national championships, six of which have been earned since 2009. Over that span, Alabama has had all four of its Heisman Trophy winners: running back Mark Ingram in 2009, running back Derrick Henry in 2015, wide receiver DeVonta Smith in 2020 and quarterback Bryce Young in 2021.
