The 9th-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish (4-0) takes on the 6th-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes (3-0) this weekend in what will be arguably the biggest home game for the Irish in decades.

Notre Dame has released its depth chart in advance of its matchup against the Buckeyes.

NOTRE DAME OFFENSE

Junior tight end Mitchell Evans missed the 41-17 win over Central Michigan, but head coach Marcus Freeman said he expects Evans back this weekend, although he's not quite fully cleared yet.

The rest of the depth chart on offense remains the same.

NOTRE DAME DEFENSE

Veteran linebacker JD Bertrand missed the matchup against Central Michigan, and his absence was impactful. Getting him back for this game is important, and Freeman said he's good to go.

Notre Dame also missed sixth-year senior senior DJ Brown against CMU, and he to is set to return. 

Junior defensive tackle Gabriel Rubio has missed the last three games and still isn't listed on the depth chart, but Rubio is expected to start practicing on Tuesday in hopes of getting him back for the Ohio State game.

The rest of the defensive depth chart remains the same.

NOTRE DAME SPECIAL TEAMS

Fifth-year senior running back Devyn Ford is back to the top spot as the team's primary kick returner. The rest of the special teams depth chart remains the same.
