Notre Dame has an outstanding 2024 recruiting class, and a case could be no service is higher on the class overall than is Rivals. Notre Dame had 10 of its 23 signees in the final Rivals250 class.

Notre Dame had a high-impact class, and Rivals believes that to be true as well. Only Ohio State and Georgia (5 each) have more players in the Top 50 by Rivals.

The highest ranked player in the class is Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa, who finished his career as a 5-star recruit and the No. 19 player in the country. It's the second time in three years that Notre Dame has signed a 5-star linebacker (Jaylen Sneed). He also ranked as the No. 2 linebacker in the land.

Boston (Mass.) Catholic Memorial offensive tackle Guerby Lambert is net in the rankings, checking in as the No. 37 overall player and the No. 3 offensive tackle in the country. He is up five spots from the last ranking.

Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard South wide receiver Cam Williams is next on the rankings, checking in at No. 46 in the final rankings. He also ranked as the No. 10 wide receiver. Saline (Mich.) High School quarterback CJ Carr rounds out the Top 50 players for Notre Dame, checking in at No. 50. He is also the No. 6 quarterback in the Rivals rankings.

The final player in the Top 100 for Notre Dame is Fort Wayne (Ind.) North Side athlete Brauntae Johnson, who ranks as the No. 89 player in the country. That is a 22 spot drop for Johnson, who missed part of his senior season with a shoulder injury.

Hannibal (Mo.) High School running back Aneyas Williams is next on the list at No. 146 overall. Next on the list Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward defensive end Loghan Thomas, who ranks No. 196 on the list. Malvern (Pa.) Prep lineman Peter Jones ranks No. 226 and Round Rock (Texas) High School cornerback Leonard Moore ranks No. 227 in the final Rivals rankings.

Rivals has 18 of Notre Dame's 23 signees ranked as four-star recruits or better.

My biggest issue with the Rivals ranking is where they have Charlotte (N.C.) Christian defensive end Bryce Young. He's a Top 50 player on the Irish Breakdown board and a five-star by 247Sports. Rivals, however, ranks Young as the No. 220 player in the country despite an elite size/athleticism/power profile and big time senior year production.
