Recruitment is heating up for one of the top recruits in the class of 2026, as five-star offensive lineman Felix Ojo prepares for multiple official visits over the spring and summer months.

Ojo (6-foot-6, 275 pounds) plays for Lake Ridge High School in Mansfield, Texas. He is rated as the nation's No. 2 offensive tackle, the No. 2 player in the state and the No. 7 overall recruit in his class (247Sports).

Notre Dame and head coach Marcus Freeman are pushing hard for a commitment from Ojo. The Fighting Irish offered a scholarship to the blue-chip recruit in December before the College Football Playoff run and national championship appearance.

Ojo previously scheduled an unofficial visit to South Bend for April 10 as Notre Dame continues spring practice. However, unfortunately for Freeman and Co., Ojo announced that he will no longer be visiting the Irish this week.

"I will no longer be Visiting Notre Dame on the 10th," Ojo wrote Tuesday on X.

Ojo has official visits scheduled to Ole Miss (April 18), Ohio State (May 30), Michigan (June 6), Texas (June 13) and Oklahoma (June 20).

It's unclear why Ojo elected to cancel his upcoming visit to South Bend. It could be something simple like a scheduling conflict with school or another minor reason.

On the other hand, Ojo could be nearing a commitment. According to On3's recruiting prediction machine, the Texas Longhorns have a 91.9% chance at landing the in-state product.

Only time will tell where Ojo's heart lies as he entertains some of the top recruiting powers in the country over the next few months. And it wouldn't be a surprise for the highly-coveted tackle to schedule a visit to Notre Dame for the fall.
