Ian Book declares for 2021 NFL Draft
Notre Dame Fighting Irish quarterback Ian Book Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Notre Dame quarterback Ian Book announced that he will enter the 2021 NFL Draft.

After enjoying immense success at the collegiate level and guiding the Fighting Irish to a College Football Playoff game, the young prospect has now set his sights on the pro ranks.

Book ended his senior year by throwing for 2,829 yards with 15 scores and three picks. He finished his Notre Dame career with a 30-5 record as a starter.

As things currently stand, Book figures to either be a late-round pick or go undrafted. Of course, as has been shown on multiple occasions over the years, that sort of start to one’s career doesn’t preclude him from becoming a big NFL star down the line.
