The NIL era has brought so much change to the landscape of college football. With players now being able to profit off of their name, image, and likeness, we are now seeing multimillionaires at a very young age. In some cases, players are making more money than the position coaches that tutor them every day.
There is a stigma around Notre Dame football and their openness to players taking advantage of the landscape, or lack thereof. We have now seen several Fighting Irish players destroy that narrative. That includes running back Jadarian Price, who signed an NIL deal with jeweler Johnny Dang.

Known as the “King of Bling”, Dang has a net worth of over $10 million. Over the years, Dang has worked with A-list celebrities such as Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj. Now in the NIL space heavily, several college athletes such as Khmori House (UNC) , Jacarrius Peak (NC State), Justice Finkley (Kansas), and Hunter Osborne (Alabama) are partnered with Dang as well.
In an interview with TMZ Sports, Price spoke openly about the deal. It appears to be a tremendous opportunity, but goes way beyond the monetary benefits.
"It's gonna go a long way," Price said about the deal. "Just sharing contacts, meeting him and the people around him who helped him have his success."
"It's not just about the quick cash, flashy chains ... but also the networking piece.”
Price is coming off of a tremendous season in 2024 as a part of a rotation with sophomore sensation Jeremiyah Love. On the season, Price rushed for 746 yards and seven touchdowns. That included an average of 6.2 yards per carry. He enters the 2025 season with a lot of expectations, and a lot more money in his pocket.
