Legend Bey Brings a Unique Skill Set to Ohio State

With Bey, he is a 5’10 freshman and was ranked as the ninth athlete in the country. Coming out of high school, he was originally a quarterback and even finished his senior season playing quarterback as he passed for 1,341 yards and 15 touchdowns.

With Bey transitioning to running back, there is hope for Ohio State to bet on him, as he was a dual-threat quarterback who also produced 1,626 yards and 23 rushing touchdowns as a senior. 

With Bey’s versatility that Ohio State can utilize with his skills outside of just being a traditional running back, it further helps his case in building a Heisman campaign down the line.

Entering as a freshman, the Heisman conversation won’t start immediately for Bey, especially as Bo Jackson and Isaiah West are still there, but this gives Bey enough time to start his development so that when he does start down the line, he can be a force immediately and truly end up solidifying himself as a Heisman, like Smith has predicted.
