The Ohio State Buckeyes are looking to defend their title in the College Football Playoff.
Ohio State enters the CFP ranked as the No. 2 team in the country, just behind the Big Ten champion Indiana Hoosiers.
The Buckeyes won the national title last season behind some phenomenal talent such as quarterback Will Howard. Now, Ohio State turns to redshirt freshman Julian Sayin to lead it to the promised land.
Sayin is in his first season as the starting quarterback of the Ohio State Buckeyes. He has led Ohio State to a 12-1 record, having gone undefeated in the regular season ahead of their matchup against Indiana in the Big Ten title game.
Before Ohio State plays in the CFP, the Buckeyes shared the final selections for the third-team AP All-America roster.
Sayin is a member of the prestigious team.

Julian Sayin recently took a trip to New York for the Heisman Trophy ceremony after being named a finalist for the award along with Vanderbilt Commodores quarterback Diego Pavia, Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza and Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back Jeremiyah Love.
Mendoza won the Heisman Trophy and earned first-team AP All-America honors. The Indiana quarterback has been the only signal-caller to trump Sayin this season. Pavia was the second-team AP All-America quarterback.
In his first season as the starter, Julian Sayin has 31 touchdowns and 3,323 yards with an FBS-leading 78.4 completion percentage. Sayin also ranks in the top three in terms of passing touchdowns and No. 11 in the country in passing yards.
Ohio State will meet the winner of the CFP first-round matchup between the Texas A&M Aggies and Miami Hurricanes in the Cotton Bowl at 7:30 p.m. ET Dec. 31 on ESPN.
