Jeremiah Smith is a highly regarded recruit, to say the least.
So highly regarded, in fact, that the Ohio State wide receiver commit is getting massive props on the internet from one of the greatest athletes of all time.
None other than LeBron James, a passionate Buckeye fan, was hyping up Smith on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, on Monday:
Can’t wait to see him in Scarlet & Gray https://t.co/GT73qt2Tfr

So how good is Smith?
The rankings think he's going to be great.
At 6-foot-3, 198 pounds as a senior in high school, he's ranked as the consensus No. 1 overall recruit in the country.
One of the most talented wide receiver prospects to come out of South Florida in the modern recruiting era," 247Sports Director of Scouting Andrew Irvins said of Smith, comparing him to prime Julio Jones — who will go down as an NFL Hall of Famer.
As a junior at Chaminade-Madonna Prep (Hollywood, Fla.), Smith was an All-American who put up 1,073 yards and 20 receiving touchdowns in 13 games. In 11 games played to date in his senior season, Smith has caught 68 passes for 1,083 yards and 16 touchdowns.
He's been committed to Ohio State since December 2022.
