There's no doubt that the Ohio State Buckeyes put together an impressive offense in 2024, finishing the season tied for 12th in points per game (35.7) and tied for 28th in total yards per game (429.4).
Much of that success can be attributed to wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, who in just his freshman season has become one of the best wide receivers in college football.
His stardom is no secret, as it was revealed on Tuesday that he and Alabama's Ryan Williams would be the cover athletes for EA Sports College Football 26.
The video game's first official trailer was revealed on Thursday, which has a short clip of Smith hauling in a touchdown reception over the head of a Penn State defensive back. That drew a reaction from Ohio State, which posted the video with the caption, "Video game JJ is unfair."

Of course, watching Smith being featured is a well-deserved reward, as last season he had 76 receptions, 1,315 yards (led the Big Ten) and 15 touchdowns (led the Big Ten) in 16 games.
His performance also won him multiple honors, including AP Second-Team All-American.
Now, as Smith enters his sophomore season, the expectations become even greater, as ESPN BET ties him with Clemson's Cade Klubnik and LSU's Garrett Nussmeier for the second-best odds (+900) of winning the Heisman Trophy.
Winning the award would be extremely impressive, as only four wide receivers in college football history have been able to do it.
