The Ohio State Buckeyes offense has been proving itself more than worthy up front. During their run through the postseason, they've been the better team in the trenches on a weekly basis.
Doubters were a plenty entering the season for the Buckeyes when it comes to one of their coaching staff's assistants. On Wednesday, a player made a stand for him.
The right tackle for the Buckeyes doesn't understand why offensive line coach Justin Frye receives so much disrespect.
"Coach Frye is a great offensive line coach. He busts his ass for us. Even though people give him hate all the time, I don't understand it. I don't see why." -- Josh Fryar on Justin Frye

While the Buckeyes have missed on some big-time OL recruits recently, the overall landscape of the line has proven true for Frye. He and the staff have done well in developing players and grabbing starters in the transfer portal for OSU.
Fryar also mentioned that Frye does everything he can in order for the OL to succeed. He's committed to his position group and works hard to help them improve.
That commitment has shown up in a major way this season for the Buckeyes. Donovan Jackson has become a versatile OL piece, playing valuable snaps both at guard and tackle.
"It's impressed me a lot. He's a really good football player, as you can tell. It's crazy to see how valuable he is to this team." -- Fryar on Jackson
Josh Simmons continues to develop into a future NFL OT, while Seth McLaughlin has also taken steps forward, too.
At every look along the OL, players are improving and proving themselves quite capable against some of the top talent in the country.
Not to mention, Ohio State has dealt with multiple notable injuries along their line over the past couple years. They've found ways to overcome them, particularly down the stretch this year to earn a berth in the CFP Championship game.
