Ohio State vs. Wisconsin odds: Opening point spread released

Ohio State travels to Wisconsin for a Week 8 clash in the Big Ten Conference. With game day approaching, the opening odds and point spread have been revealed.

The Badgers are looking for its first win over Ohio State since the 2010 season. Ohio State has won the last 10 matchups in the series, which the Buckeyes lead 63-18-5 all-time. During their last meeting, which came in 2023, Ohio State defeated the Badgers 24-10.

During that game, TreVeyon Henderson rushed for 162 yards and a touchdown. QB Kyle McCord threw two touchdowns and two interceptions in a game which Ohio State pulled away in the second half.

Ohio State head coach Ryan Day has never lost to Wisconsin since taking over in 2019. He’s been with the program since 2017.

The Buckeyes are currently rolling through their competition this season, and are 6-0 after defeating Illinois during Week 6. They’ve looked the part of a national championship contender through seven weeks, and are poised to continue that success this week on the road against the Badgers.

With the odds favoring the Buckeyes, Vegas believes this will be the case. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon, and will air live on CBS.
