Oklahoma DE Enters Transfer Portal

Oklahoma’s defensive line lost a former starter on Monday.

Reggie Grimes, who started 10 games in 2022 but fell down the depth chart in 2023, has reportedly entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Grimes, a senior from Antioch, TN, played in four games this season, recording just 49 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.

Grimes played in 38 games as a Sooner, with 10 starts last season and five starts as a sophomore in 2021. Grimes also played in eight games as a true freshman.

His playing just four games this season, however, counts as a redshirt and gives him two seasons of eligibility at his new school.

Grimes had 7.5 tackles for loss last season and has 11.0 in his career to go with 7.5 quarterback sacks.
