Okwufulueze is an extremely intriguing pickup for the Sooners, and not just because of his size. You love to see a 6-foot-4 wideout at the high school level, but he's just an overall talented football player and athlete.
Playing for Rejoice Christian School, Okwufulueze caught 46 passes for 901 yards and nine touchdowns for a 13-1 Rejoice Christian School that won the Oklahoma A-I state championship. He averaged 19.6 yards per catch, so he's a big-play wideout personified.
Okwufulueze also played cornerback and he was productive there as well. He notched 31 tackles and four interceptions. Two of those picks were taken back to the house for touchdowns.
Oklahoma likes him as a wideout at the next level, but Okwufulueze's ability to play both ways is why the recruiting services consider him an athlete.
The 247Sports Composite rankings consider him to be the No. 40 athlete in the 2026 class and the No. 8 player from the state of Oklahoma.
He goes down as the 19th commitment to Venables' 2026 class. It's a class that's ranked No. 20 nationally.
