Add another large human being to the list of official visitors at Syracuse this weekend. Oklahoma offensive lineman transfer Aaryn Parks told All Syracuse that he is currently on campus for his visit. Parks is listed at 6-4, 301 pounds on the Oklahoma Athletics website and has two years of eligibility remaining. You can view the complete visitor list HERE

Parks has been a career reserve during his four years with the Sooners. He appeared three games this past season and five in 2022. Parks did not appear in any games in 2021 or 2020. His one career start came in the 2022 Cheez-It Bowl. Due to transfers and injuries, he was thrust into the starting role at tackle despite primarily training at guard. He performed well in that game despite being matched up against Florida State's All-American defensive end Jared Verse.

That strong performance did not result in a larger role in 2023, and now he is looking for a new home. Previously, Parks entered the portal over the summer for a brief period before withdrawing within 48 hours.

As a high school recruit, Parks was rated a four star guard and ranked the 205th best player overall in the 2020 class per the 247Sports Composite Ranking. He was slotted as the seventh best guard in the cycle and eighth best player in the state of Maryland. Parks starred for National Christian Academy.

He signed with Oklahoma over offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi State, NC State, North Carolina, Oregon, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rutgers, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia, among others.
