The Oklahoma Sooners originally had some good news going into this game against the Alabama Crimson Tide. They have been banged up all year, and this game was going to be good for them in that area. And, while it still is, things got bad real quick.
We got the news on Wednesday that offensive tackle Michael Tarquin would be available for the game on Saturday, which was great considering everyone who plays on the offensive line is pretty banged up. He's a serviceable offensive tackle with experience.
Sooners fans were under the impression that they would potentially have Jalil Farooq on Saturday. He played the last game against the Missouri Tigers but was limited. So, with him being questionable, and not sustaining an injury that was noticeable on our end, it was thought that he would still play.
On Friday when the final report came out, he was ruled out. It's very much a shock.

The Sooners will be down without one of their best wide receivers, again. And, Deion Burks, who suffered a concussion against Missouri, will be out as well. They are right back where they were before the Missouri game, just when things were starting to look great, they go downhill.
