The Oklahoma State Cowboys are coming off a huge win over the Oklahoma Sooners. As the No. 22 Cowboys took down the No. 9 team in the nation at the time, plenty of national buzz came for the team.

Of course, Ollie Gordon is a fan favorite, so he got plenty of attention, but Alan Bowman played an incredibly sharp game and got the chance to join ESPN Radio to chat about the win and his career.

"Just blessed to be a part of it, obviously it's a long-standing tradition here in Oklahoma," Bowman said. "Just to be a part of the game and get the win at the end was awesome."

Bowman finished the matchup with 334 passing yards while completing 28 of his 42 passing attempts. He added a 13-yard rushing touchdown to his stat line, too.

Throughout his career, Bowman has made stops at Texas Tech and Michigan before becoming a Cowboy. He was asked about what he learned in doing so, too.

"It's been kind of a unique journey," Bowman said. "...just take the best of both worlds of the elite talent and ability and rawness of Texas Tech and then refine it into how to operate an offense, how to operate a team, how to lead a team."

There's no secret that this has genuinely been a positive thing for Bowman. He has the capabilities to distribute the ball and also lead the team that's riding a hot streak.

Also, something that's been noticed is Bowman's jerseys after each win. He puts on a throwback Oklahoma State jersey, and ESPN asked about it.

"When I first got here, the old locker that I had had an old Bob Fenimore jersey. ...So after a win, the first one, I was like, 'You know what, I'll throw this jersey on and see what happens,'" Bowman said. "After three weeks in a row, I ran out of jerseys. I had to go to our head equipment guy."

Lastly, Bowman had the opportunity to explain how good the home crowd is at Oklahoma State and how beneficial it is. Even before the Cowboys hit their hot streak and started winning games, the fans were consistently showing up and showing out.

"I was fortunate enough to play as an opponent here twice," Bowman said. "It's a huge, huge, huge, huge advantage for us. ...Opposing teams and opposing players have to accommodate for us."
