Ole Miss HC Lane Kiffin says he saw Saturday's loss to LSU coming

It was one loss in an otherwise perfect season for Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels.

They're still 7-1 and ranked No. 15 in the AP Top 25 Poll. They're still in the thick of the SEC West, though their chances at winning the thing cleanly certainly took a hit with a 45-20 loss to LSU this past weekend.

While the past is the past and Ole Miss still has its goals in front of them, Kiffin took some time on Monday to publically warn his team about letting one loss become two. He also seemed to "call out" the Rebels a bit.

The loss may have snuck up on his team, but Kiffin said that he saw it coming.

"There were signs of these coming, whether it was ... some protection things and the tackling on defense and limiting easy completions and turning into explosive plays," Kiffin said on Monday, per ESPN. "So those were magnified. And that's what happens when you go play really good players in a really hard environment: Your weaknesses get magnified."

Kiffin, now in his third season at Ole Miss, also warned his Rebels that if they don't shore things up right now, the result could be the same next time they play.

We're going to have the same thing this week if we don't fix it," he said.

Up next on the docket for Ole Miss is Texas A&M. While the Aggies aren't the team we thought they could be this season -- they started the season ranked No. 6 nationally -- they will be a dangerous opponent.

Jimbo Fisher's team has lost three straight, so Texas A&M will be desperate to pick up a win against an Ole Miss team that has now shown that it can be beaten.
