With the transfer portal opened up, Colorado Buffaloes wide receiver Omarion Miller is set to join Arizona State as multiple outlets reported on Monday morning. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

Miller became the best-rated prospect to ever commit to Arizona State out of the transfer portal when he pledged to the team. Miller is largely considered one of the Top 2 wide receivers in the transfer portal. With Arizona State losing Jordyn Tyson to the NFL and Sam Leavitt to Kentucky, the Sun Devils desperately needed to hit in landing a player of Miller’s caliber, and Kenny Dillingham did just that on Monday morning.

Omarion Miller’s Colorado Tenure

Miller was a consensus four-star prospect coming out of high school. He played at North Caddo High School for four seasons and finished his career with 154 receptions for 3,492 yards and 43 touchdowns in 30 games, averaging 116.4 yards per game and 22.7 yards per catch.

He has translated that into success at the FBS level as well, having plenty of success with the Buffaloes during his three seasons in Boulder. As a freshman in 2023, when Colorado was playing its last season in the Pac-12, and first under Deion Sanders, Miller recorded 11 receptions for 234 yards and one touchdown.

As a sophomore, he showed incredible promise. He played in the first six games of the 2024 season, but missed the final seven games due to injury. He finished the season with 10 receptions for 216 yards and one touchdown. He only had a reception in two games, but made an impact in both. He caught his first reception of the season against Baylor, a 58-yard touchdown at the end of the first half. And then with receivers injured against Kansas State he had his biggest game of the season finishing the game with eight receptions for 145 yards.

Fast-forward to this season, and he was an All-Big 12 Second-Team selection after playing in 11 games during the 2025 season, starting in eight. He finished the season leading the team in all three receiving stats with 45 receptions for 808 yards and eight touchdowns. In the Big 12, he was 19th in receptions, 6th in receiving yards, 5th in receiving touchdowns, and 1st in yards per catch in the Big 12.
