Oregon Ducks fans are fair to start wondering what the quarterback position is going to look like after Dillon Gabriel leaves after the season, whether the Ducks address the position again via the transfer portal or they bring in talented recruits from the high school ranks.
It's starting to get late in the recruiting game for the 2025 class, but the Oregon Ducks just picked up a big recruiting prediction.

Oregon looks like they're trying to continue to bolster their 2025 recruiting class by flipping Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele.
Justin Hopkins from On3's Scoop Duck had this to say about the Hawaiian quarterback:
Shouldn’t be a shocker here. A Hawaii quarterback getting an offer from Oregon even late in the process. Should be a near slam-dunk for Will Stein and Oregon. Sagapolutele has been on Oregon’s radar for quite some time now. Despite the offer coming in September, Oregon has had a lot of communication with Sagapolutele even before making his Cal commitment. I don’t think a flip is coming in the next few days by any means, but I would be stunned if he didn’t end up signing with Oregon as part of this 2025 class. Keep in mind, taking two quarterbacks in this class has always been on the table for Oregon.
Behind Gabriel, the Ducks have Dante Moore and Austin Novosad waiting in the wings, and currently have a commitment from Akili Smith Jr. Bringing in another quarterback in the 2025 class, as Hopkins noted, has been widely discussed in recent months and shouldn't come as much of a surprise. Competition is always a good thing.

3-star uncommitted kid from Hawaii who was the last invite to Elite 11…and his arm absolutely RIPS.
He might have more gas than anyone else here. Won’t be a 3-star for long. pic.twitter.com/bn8Lc9IJj3
Sagapolutele is a big quarterback at 6'3" 210 lbs, with the frame to continue to add muscle. He's athletic and showcased his live arm at Elite 11.
If the Ducks can add Sagapolutele to their recruiting haul, it would continue to bolster their 2025 class in hopes of securing another top-5 class in the country.
