Oregon's Dan Lanning Had Zero Words After Latest Recruiting Update

In the three seasons under head coach Dan Lanning, the Oregon Ducks have become consistent national championship contenders, which of course starts with having a talented group of players.

So far this offseason, they've done a great job continuing that trend, as the team's 2026 recruiting class already features 12 commitments, with a score of 90.70, ranking No. 4 in the Big Ten and No. 11 in the nation

The latest addition to that group comes in the form of interior offensive lineman Tommy Tofi, with On3's Hayes Fawcett reporting the commitment on Wednesday.

It's a big win for the Ducks, and roughly 10 minutes after the news broke, Lanning posted a simple duck emoji on X to celebrate.

Tofi is one of the program's best recruits, as On3 Industry Rankings place him as a four-star recruit, the No. 8 IOL, the No. 17 player in California and the No. 145 player in the nation.

What makes this outcome even sweeter is that Tofi had originally committed to the California Golden Bears on June 3, but switched after Oregon extended an offer on June 8 and hosted him for an official visit on June 13. They made a strong impression.

Considering he also stands at 6-foot-6.5 and 340 pounds, the offensive lineman already possesses impressive size for someone who still has one more year left at the high school level.

Tofi is the second interior offensive lineman that Oregon and Lanning have landed through this year's cycle, joining three-star Koloi Keli out of Honolulu, Hawaii.
