
Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq is trending on social media after hurdling a defender for a jaw-dropping touchdown during the first half of the Ducks' 45-37 win over Penn State in the Big Ten Championship Game on Saturday.
In front of a Nittany Lion-leaning crowd at Lucas Oil Stadium, Sadiq caught a pass down the sideline and leaped over a defender on his way into the end zone, giving Oregon a 6-0 lead with 10:40 left to play in the first quarter.
Shortly following the play, a number of pages posted Sadiq's touchdown on social media, where the hurdle garnered significant attention on multiple platforms.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, SportsCenter posted a video of the play that garnered nearly 400,000 views before 10 p.m. PST.

On Instagram, an ESPN post featuring the same video garnered 243,000 likes within the same time frame.
"AN UNREAL HURDLE FROM OREGON"S KENYON SADIQ TO GIVE THEM THE LEAD ON THE OPENING DRIVE OF THE GAME," ESPN wrote.
Meanwhile, the sophomore's hurdle also circulated on TikTok. Fox's college football-focused page posted the play and collected nearly 800,000 views.

Later in the game, Sadiq recorded a second touchdown on a quick, two-yard strike from Dillon Gabriel, giving the Ducks a 14-3 lead with 3:21 left to play in the first quarter.
The sophomore tight end finished the game with two catches for 30 yards and two touchdowns, bringing his season total to 23 catches for 298 yards and two scores.
While Oregon tight ends Terrance Ferguson and Patrick Herbert will both be moving on this offseason, Sadiq has Duck fans at satisfied with the outlook of their tight end room.

With the win, Sadiq and the Ducks clinch a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff. The 12-team bracket will be unveiled by the committee on ESPN at 9 a.m. PST on Sunday.
