Whether it was Michigan winning the recruiting battle with Alabama for four-star defensive lineman Titan Davis or the Tide blowing it, the reality is setting in for both programs: Davis is committed to the Wolverines. The Tide were favored to land the Missouri star entering this past weekend, but Davis flipped.
Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore was able to land his Mason Graham replacement, per On3. “I’m home GO Blue 〽️!”, he said.
Perhaps his decision wasn't quite as shocking as it may have seemed, despite the Tide's optimism for their efforts. For as complimentary as Davis was about Kalen DeBoer's program, Davis' mom seemed to prefer Michigan.

“Overall culture there it’s hard to beat that’s for sure,” his mother Jessica Johnson told On3’s Steve Wiltfong this spring. “You can feel those people are genuine.”
She highlighted what her priorities are for her son, and it's impressive Michigan won them over with their pitch.
“At the end of the day you want to be around people that care about Titan Davis the person,” she added. “One thing that stood out about the visit we haven’t experience elsewhere is the fellowship. They took the time for the coaches and staff to let their hair down and enjoy people for who they are.”
The 104th overall prospect and No. 9 lineman in the class, Davis is a literal and figurative huge win for a program needing as much high-end talent as they can get. He registered 46 tackles and nine sacks en route to a state title in Missouri last year.
