Penn State: Classic Beaver Stadium Songs to be Featured in College Football 25

Two songs associated with Penn State football will be featured in the highly-anticipated College Football ‘25 video game.

One of them has been a Beaver Stadium staple for almost 20 years. The other is a more recent phenomenon.

Following an event that took place last week in Orlando, Uproxx Senior Sports Writer Robby Kalland was among those who got to play the first college football video game in more than a decade.

There, they heard some of the songs that will be featured in the game, listing them as follows.

“Welcome to the Jungle” – Guns N’ Roses
“Sandstorm” – Darude
“Zombie Nation” – Kernkraft 400
“Tsunami” – DVBBS & Borgeous
“Mo Bamba” – Sheck Wes
“Iowa Wave Song” – Pat Green

All of those songs— with the possible exception of “Iowa Wave Song” have played in Beaver Stadium at one time or another. But the two most closely associated with Penn State are “Zombie Nation” and “Mo Bamba.”

“Zombie Nation” became a Beaver Stadium Gameday staple since 2005. That was the year PSU bounced back from four losing seasons in five years by going 11-1, winning the Orange Bowl, finishing No. 3 in the nation. That season also established Beaver Stadium as one of America’s top atmospheres.

Late in last season’s 20-12 loss at Ohio State, OSU’s Gameday operations crew decided to play ”Zombie Nation”  after a sack of PSU QB Drew Allar, an apparent mocking of Penn State.
