On Monday, Penn State Football landed a commitment from Linebacker Elijah Littlejohn.
Littlejohn announced his commitment to the Nittany Lions Monday evening. The Charlotte, North Carolina native is an ON3 Industry 4-star, and top 25 ranked Linebacker in the nation.
Penn State is getting a blue-chip prospect in Littlejohn.
During the official visit season, Littlejohn took visits to Virginia Tech, Penn State, Georgia Tech, and was scheduled to visit NC State next weekend. However, I would anticipate Littlejohn cancelling that NC State visit.
In addition to the schools that Littlejohn officially visited, the North Carolina product also held offers from Georgia, Ohio State, South Carolina, Alabama, and others.
The 6-1, 210-pound Linebacker has an offer list that stacks up against almost any other prospect in the country. Penn State Football is getting a very good prospect in Elijah Littlejohn.
There is seemingly an immediate impact from Elijah Littlejohn committing to Penn State. That immediate impact is at Linebacker.
Littlejohn committing indicates that Penn State Football is likely done recruiting Linebackers in the class of 2026.
Barring something from out of left field, Mathieu Lamah, Terry Wiggins, and Elijah Littlejohn will be the Linebacker Penn State signs in the class of 2026.
This means that prospects like Rodney Colton, Kosi Okpala, and Cincere Johnson will commit to a school not named Penn State.
This upcoming weekend marks the end of the official visit season for Penn State. That will usher in a flurry of commitment dominoes falling during the last week of June and the first week or two in July. Stay tuned for the latest updates.
