Penn State Offensive Lineman Enters Transfer Portal
Rich Barnes/USA Today Sports

Penn State's Ibrahim Traore, who spent four years with the Nittany Lions as an offensive lineman, has entered the NCAA Transfer portal. Traore announced his decision Tuesday on social media, saying he will have three seasons of eligibility remaining. He was able to enter the portal after the January window closed as a graduate student.

Traore played in one game during his career at Penn State, seeing action against Massachusetts this past season. The 6-5, 320-pound lineman from the Bronx was a 3-star prospect in Penn State's 2020 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He had received offers from West Virginia, Minnesota and Rutgers, among others.

Traore is the sixth Penn State player officially to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, joining receivers Dante Cephas and Cristian Driver, punter Alex Bacchetta, defensive end Jake Wilson and cornerback Jace Tutty. Driver has committed to Minnesota, and Bacchetta transferred to Rice.
