It's hard to find someone whose blood runs more orange than former Tennessee Vols player, head coach, and athletic director Phillip Fulmer. The veteran lineman and coach has given decades to the university and has helped the football program reach rare heights over the years, including the programs first national title in 47 years in 1998.
As it turns out, more than just Fulmer's lasting legacy will be with the football program for the foreseeable future. Fulmer's grandson, JP Peace, committed to Tennessee on Monday, announcing it on his Twitter/X account. Peace is also the son of former Vols linebacker Robert Peace.

Peace is listed as a three-star recruit by On3 Sports, the #27 linebacker, and the #13 overall player in the state of Tennessee. He held scholarship offers from Kentucky, Florida State, Virginia Tech, Maryland, USF, and others, per On3 and 247 Sports. Peace will be a junior this fall, so he has two more years at the high school level before he arrives in Knoxville in 2027.
Peace becomes the Vols' first commitment of the 2027 recruiting class for Josh Heupel.
