Player to Watch: Jared Brown Coastal Carolina WR

Jared Brown is a wide receiver who has spent the last few seasons playing for Coastal Carolina. 

This year for the Chanticleers, Brown had 58 receptions for 740 yards and four touchdowns. He also had 15 carries for 252 yards and a touchdown on the ground. 

He put up similar numbers the season before, with 789 yards and six touchdowns. 

Brown is a gadget guy who can do it through the air and on the ground. Watching the tape on him one of the things that stood out is how much separation he always seems to have. Auburn receivers over the past few years never seem to be open, but watching the tape on Brown, he is almost never covered. 

Last season, in a game against Appalachian State, Brown hit a speed of 20.9, which is lightning quick. 

Hugh Freeze would find a way to use Brown if Auburn was able to land the speedster from Coastal Carolina. 

Brown is a football player who will make a coach and fanbase at the Power Five level very happy, and hopefully, that is Auburn.
