Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

The 2023 college football regular season has come and gone. With another week in the books, it is once again time to evaluate the performances of former Auburn Tigers from the past week.

TJ Finley

TJ Finley had a great performance in Texas State's 52-44 win over the South Alabama Jaguars (6-6, 4-4 Sun Belt).

Finley went 19-28 for 368 yards and three touchdowns. He also threw one interception, but it did not end up being impactful.

Texas State (7-5, 4-4 Sun Belt) finished second in the West division of the Sun Belt Conference. The Bobcats are projected to receive a bid to the Frisco Bowl on Dec. 19 according to CBS. They are predicted to take on the Rice Owls (6-6) who finished fifth in the American Conference.

Bo Nix

Bo Nix once again proved why he is among the best players in college football in Oregon's 31-7 win over the  No. 16 Oregon State Beavers (8-4, 5-4 PAC-12).

Nix went 33-40 for 367 yards and two touchdowns. He also picked up 31 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

No. 6 Oregon (11-1, 8-1 PAC-12) will take on the No. 4 Washington Huskies (12-0, 9-0 PAC-12) in the PAC-12 Championship game at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Friday night. ABC will carry the broadcast and kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT.

The two teams played previously this season. Washington won 36-33 and handed Oregon its only loss of the season.
