Ramel Keyton must be one of Tennessee's top offensive performers this season. His ability to run the mid to deep routes well will help him this upcoming season, and it may push his play forward in year five on Rocky Top.

Last season, Keyton had 562 yards and five touchdown grabs. He had a very good yard average of receptions last season, with 18 per catch. He brought in 31 total catches last season. There were certain games last season that showed the impact Keyton could have in the Vols' passing game. For example, he had 77 yards and two touchdowns in the 65-24 win over Tennessee Martin and also had great yardage games in the wins against Florida and Alabama. Most of the time, Keyton played out of the slot when Jalin Hyatt and Cedric Tillman were on the outside. With those two receivers now gone to the NFL, Keyton's role on the offense has a decent chance of changing.

This change may propel Keyton forward with an even better season than last. He never had over a 100-yard season last year, and that may have been because he averaged just 2.5 receptions per game in 2022. Now that he is one of Tennessee's main receivers, he will assuredly get more targets from quarterback Joe Milton, which can lead to him having another big year. Keyton is also on the Reese's Senior Bowl watchlist for 2024. He will have the chance to make himself an intriguing NFL prospect and join some good former Vols' wide receivers from the past few seasons who are now playing professionally. Big things are coming for Keyton in 2023. He will be a player to watch on this high-powered Vols offense.
