RB Blake Corum is 'coming back for it all' in return to Michigan

Michigan running back Blake Corum's junior season was fantastic with over 1,400 yards and 18 rushing touchdowns to his name, but it didn't end how he wanted it to.

Corum was injured in late November and though he tried to make a comeback against Ohio State, he was ultimately shut down before Michigan played in the College Football Playoff against TCU.

An otherwise great season was marred by that injury, but Corum isn't dwelling on the past.

In fact, speaking to Rich Eisen on Monday, the 210-pound back from Marshall, Virginia confirmed that he'll be coming back to Michigan for his senior season. And he's playing for keeps.

"I'm a Michigan man through and through," Corum said, per the Detroit Free Press. "I love playing for the University of Michigan. I love going to the big house and leaving it all on the field. I love the community, I love interacting with everyone. It was a tough decision, it was a business decision, but I feel like I have unfinished business.

"I didn't like the way I went out in the Big House, I don't like people remembering me being hurt, so I will be coming back for it all next year."

Corum was having a Heisman-Esque season and there was potential he could have been a finalist had he not been injured.

To put his season into perspective, consider the fact that he ranked No. 11 nationally in rushing yards and tied for No. 5 in rushing touchdowns despite having played in a game and a half less compared to many of his peers.

Heading into his senior season at Michigan, Corum has 2,492 yards and 31 rushing touchdowns to his name to go along with 294 yards and two touchdowns through the air.
