The first round of the 2025 NFL draft is set to take place on Thursday at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

As confirmed by ESPN, there will be 16 players in attendance who are hoping to hear their names called. However, a prospect who won't attend may make the most headlines.

Colorado quarterback and Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year Shedeur Sanders has long been considered for the opening round of the draft, yet he announced he would not be attending back in February on his podcast "2Legendary."

Instead, Sanders revealed that he and his family would have a watch party in Colorado or Dallas.

In the days leading up to the draft, a Well Off Media video revealed that he and his brother, Shilo Sanders, who is also hoping to hear his name called in the draft, will be streaming on Twitch throughout the draft.

"Because we gonna be streaming the whole draft," Shilo Sanders said. "Me and Shedeur are going to be on Twitch streaming the whole entire draft."

While Shedeur Sanders has frequently been in discussions for being a potential top-five pick, his draft stock has seemingly taken a hit in recent days. According to the oddsmakers at ESPN BET, the draft slot on Sanders over/under has dropped from 8.5 all the way down to 21.5.

CBS Sports NFL insider Jonathan Jones even reported on Thursday that "there's a very good chance" that Sanders slips into the second round.

Sanders finished his college career with 14,353 yards with 134 touchdowns and 27 interceptions, becoming just the second Division One quarterback to throw for 14,000 yards and complete 70 percent of his career passes. He also left Colorado with over 100 school records despite playing there just two seasons.

Only time will tell, but it's safe to assume that plenty of people will be looking out to see what happens to the son of Deion Sanders.
