The Ole Miss Rebels landed a commitment from a transfer defensive back this week, adding the Liberty Flames' Daijahn Anthony to their fold.
Anthony recently visited Ole Miss after entering the portal, and this is actually the second time he has transferred in his collegiate career, joining Liberty from Shepherd University previously. During his two years with the Flames, the corner hauled in three interceptions and accumulated a total of 41 tackles.
You can see Anthony's announcement of his commitment on Twitter below.
Of his three total interceptions, two came for Anthony in the 2022 season, including one of Arkansas Razorbacks quarterback KJ Jefferson en route to an upset win over the Hogs.
During his prep days, Anthony suited up for Henrico High School in Richmond, Virginia. The new Rebel will likely be called upon to help alleviate some of the departures from last season's Ole Miss team, including transfers Miles Battle (Utah), Tysheem Johnson (Oregon), Davison Igbinosun (Ohio State) and AJ Finley (NFL).
