RECRUITING: Son of Top SEC Head Coach Starts Reeling in Offers as Class of 2028 QB

The Class of 2028 is miles away from seeing a college football field, yet the elite players are already collecting offers. One of these is quarterback Knox Kiffin, son of Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin , who has already piled up offers.

Kiffin received his first offer from SMU soon after finishing  8th grade. Since then, he has added offers from Arkansas State, Western Kentucky, Georgia State, Sacramento State and most recently, Florida International and Murray State. That gives Kiffin seven offers after a freshman season when he only completed three passes for 19 yards and one interception.

That freshman season took place at Palos Verdes High School in California. Recently, it has been announced that he will be continuing his high school career at Oxford High School in Mississippi. If anyone needs a reminder, the city of Oxford is home to the University of Mississippi, which as mentioned is coached by his father.

It is noticeable that the Rebels have yet to offer Kiffin, but at the same time, there is no rush. Aside from the fact that there are years remaining in his recruitment, it is also safe to say that Ole Miss will always have the upper hand in his process no matter when they offer.

Whenever Kiffin sees the field at Oxford, the pressure will suddenly be much higher considering his father's relationship to the community. Then it will be up to him to validate the offers he already has and will likely to accumulate in the coming months.

The Kiffin name already draws plenty of attention and that isn't likely to end anytime soon.
