Report: Trevor Lawrence to undergo shoulder surgery on Tuesday

Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence completed one final throwing session on Friday ahead of the 2021 NFL Draft. He's now set to undergo shoulder surgery in order to be ready for his rookie season.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Lawrence will undergo labrum surgery on his left shoulder on Tuesday. The recovery time is five-to-six months, and he's expected to be ready for training camp.

Many people wondered why Lawrence held a throwing session because he has been regarded as a top pick for several years. Lawrence's quarterback tutor, and former NFL QB, Jordan Palmer told Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer that Lawrence held the session because "he has nothing to hide."

The 21-year-old had three solid seasons at Clemson, throwing for more than 10,000 yards and 90 touchdowns, proving that he's capable of playing at the next level.
