Reports: Georgia's Dominick Blaylock suffers retorn ACL, out for season

Dawgs Daily on SI.com confirmed Thursday morning that Georgia Bulldogs sophomore wide receiver and punt returner Dominick Blaylock retore his left ACL and will require season-ending surgery.

As noted by Dawgs Daily and ESPN, Blaylock underwent an operation in December after he tore that same ACL in the 2019 SEC Championship game versus the LSU Tigers.

The son of well-known former NBA player Mookie Blaylock, the wideout tallied 18 catches with 310 yards and five touchdown grabs in his debut collegiate season. Listed at 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds, Blaylock earned Georgia Co-Offensive Newcomer of the Year honors.

Georgia is scheduled to open the campaign at the Arkansas Razorbacks on Sept. 26.
