This year’s wide receiver corps has been missing a player who is expected to do great things in the Maize and Blue: rising Michigan football star Darrius Celmons. The sophomore wideout has been dealing with some injury issues throughout the season so far; however, after seeing some snaps against Rutgers during the Wolverines’ 31-7 win on Saturday, Jim Harbaugh says that Clemons is “full-go” once again.

Rising Michigan football star wide receiver returning from injury

Darrius Clemons, a rising Michigan football star and a former four-star prospect for Jim Harbaugh and his Wolverines, seems to be all healed up and ready to play once again. According to Harbaugh, who spoke last night on the ‘Inside Michigan Football’ podcast with Jon Jansen, it sounds like Clemons is ready to start getting some meaningful reps once again.

“Darrius Clemons — now that he’s healthy — he’s full-go again. I think you’re gonna see good things from him,” Michigan football head coach Jim Harbaugh said. “He was out there today, and you can see the burst back. It gives you another big body, physical type of Nico Collins-type of player.”

Darrius Clemons set to return against Nebraska

JJ McCarthy and the Michigan football offense have been doing well as of late, and with Clemons returning to the lineup — ideally in a meaningful way — this weekend, keep an eye on Michigan’s passing attack to continue progressing.

Nebraska has one of the worst passing defenses in college football, as well as the top-ranked rushing defense in the country, so keep an eye on this rising Michigan football star as he looks to make a splash in the Maize and Blue throughout the rest of the year.
