The roof was covered at NRG Stadium in Houston for the national championship game on Monday night between Michigan and Washington, but that didn’t keep all the rain out.

Wall Street Journal college sports reporter Laine Higgins shared a video to X on Monday that showed water leaking through the roof at the stadium.

It was raining in Houston and there was a severe storm warning during the time of the national championship game. The weather even caused the Baltimore Ravens’ plane that was headed to Houston for the game to be diverted to Austin, Texas.

The Ravens’ contingent was traveling to the game so John Harbaugh could watch brother Jim’s team in the game.

NRG Stadium is the home of the Houston Texans. It has hosted two Super Bowls, but Monday was its first time hosting a college football national championship game.
