Sam Leavitt Puts Team First, Donates All 2025 Gear Sales

Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt is turning heads off the field by pledging to donate every dollar of commission from his 2025 merchandise sales directly to his teammates.

Tees, hoodies, jerseys—anything he sells through his NIL store, 100 percent goes back into the locker room.

Leavitt isn’t new to leading by example. After guiding the Sun Devils to a Big 12 title and establishing himself as a preseason All-American, he has already donated some of his 2024 NIL earnings to the team’s collective fund and given $15,000 to the Pat Tillman Foundation. Now, this initiative takes it a step further, showing that he values unity over personal gain right at the start of the season.

That kind of selflessness speaks volumes about the character Kenny Dillingham wants in Tempe. Leavitt has earned trust in the locker room, and given his fundraising move, now he’s earned respect in the stands, too. Wear a Leavitt jersey, cheer him on, then know that gear purchase helps support his teammates directly. That message resonates more deeply in a sport built on trust, connection, and shared goals.

Arizona State enters 2025 with high expectations. Leavitt stands as a top NFL Draft prospect at quarterback. However, this move isn’t just a matter of business savvy. It’s cultural. It signals that he wants everyone around him equipped and ready for big moments. It creates ripple effects within an offseason program, where teamwork isn’t just a buzzword.

From practices to game day, talent wins games. Culture wins titles. And Leavitt just raised both fields by turning his merchandise line into a team fundraiser. That mindset can define seasons, on and off the field.
