Scott Satterfield Confirms Pair of Injuries Following 42-21 Loss to West Virginia
USA TODAY Sports

Scott Satterfield confirmed a pair of injuries on Saturday as Cincinnati quarterback Brady Lichtenberg got "banged up" in the 42-21 loss to West Virginia.

"Yeah, Brady got banged up," Satterfield said after the game. "I don't know if you noticed on that drive (last UC Possession of first half), he was kind of wincing a little bit and we were trying to get him out a little bit earlier, but we were rolling in that drive. And so I think the last play was his QB draw down to the one-yard line and then I think there was some kind of problem, so that's when we made the switch and he got banged up so we'll have to see how he is when we get back."

Starting tight end Payten Singletary didn't play this week and Satterfield said he's out for the final game as well with a leg injury.

"I don't think he's gonna be able to get back this week either," Satterfield said about Singletary. "I think it's a lower leg injury, so Chamon (Metayer's) kind of banged up as well. That tight end room's kind of been banged up the last two weeks you know so that's something we'll have to monitor."

Cincinnati's worst season this decade comes to a close at home next Saturday against Kansas.
