Scott Satterfield Updates Brady Lichtenberg's Injury Status, Chance Brady Drogosh Plays Against Kansas

The Bearcats football team could utilize quarterback Brady Drogosh this week as the 2023 season concludes. Heach coach Scott Satterfield revealed the possibility after updating the status of a "banged-up" Brady Lichtenberg.

"He's still banged up and hurting," Satterfield said. "He'll be kind of day to day. Hopefully will be able to go out there and do some things this week in practice, and hopefully, he'll be able to play this week. We'll see how it goes as the week goes."

Lichtenberg played 13 snaps on Saturday against West Virginia. It's 10 more snaps than Drogosh has played all season as the third-string option.

"We could potentially see Drogosh this week. We'll see how it goes," Satterfield said. "He's certainly a great athlete and a guy who's been learning and learning and one of the things we've been doing, we started this I think three weeks ago was at the end of Tuesday/Wednesday practices kind of young guys scrimmage, and he's been getting participation in that doing some really good stuff. So it's been great to see. It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for him to get out there and get some action and we'll have to see how the week goes along, particularly for Lichtenberg, you know, and then see where we're at with Drogosh."

Cincinnati is highly likely to pursue a transfer quarterback in the portal this offseason as Drogosh (and/or Lichtenberg) prepares to battle for a starting job in the offseason.
