No matter what fans may think or feel about Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders, the fun never ends between them. People can never say Sanders took his slide in the 2025 NFL draft as a negative. He has made sweet lemonade out of sour lemons ever since.
The former Colorado passer arrived at the Browns minicamp ready to compete against the other quarterbacks in the organization. Sanders has shown professionalism and his ability to lead the team, which is the first step to becoming the starter.
Something that has become a player favorite is the jersey swap. While it’s rare outside of a game, it nearly happened his past weekend. Sanders and Ward were at the NFLPA Rookie Premiere in Los Angeles and tried to create a moment.
The latest Well Off Media video featured the two quarterbacks behind the scenes cutting up like they did during their offseason practice sessions. You can hear Ward ask Sanders for a jersey swap, but it didn’t go down as expected. Sanders said he would have to sell his because he was already down. Yes, he was referring to losing out on millions by falling in the draft.
If you haven’t seen these two interact in the past, it’s comical and deserves consideration for a network show. They instantly remind you of two friends having a great time pranking or competing against one another at all times.
A few of the players left early with their jerseys and were reminded they needed to bring them back the next day. Hopefully the two quarterbacks were able to swap jerseys, if not rest assured they may do it Week 14 when the Titans play the Browns in Cleveland.
