Shedeur Sanders had a cryptic message before the start of Cleveland Browns mandatory minicamp on Tuesday. Following a cascade of reports on where he stands on the depth chart, along with his father, Deion Sanders, dealing with health concerns in Texas, 'Grown' remains focused.
"It’s a spiritual war going on. Trust in GOD," Sanders posted on X.

Although things have been tough overall for the former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback, there has been no quit. From Sanders' perspective, he's waiting for his opportunity to contribute for the team who took a chance on him as a fifth-rounder in the 2025 NFL Draft.
This post is not only short and to the point, but it also displays the swagger and resilience that we’ve come to love from Sanders. But what would you expect from the QB whose famous dad is the only athlete in history to hit a home run and score touchdown in the same week. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Sanders was the only FBS player in the top five for completion percentage (1st, 74.2%), completions per game (2nd, 28.1), passing touchdowns (2nd, 35), passing yards per game (3rd, 327.2) and pass efficiency (5th, 168.8) last year.
Sanders had another good practice on Tuesday. He reportedly went 10-of-12 with two touchdowns with no turnovers. The Browns conclude the three-day minicamp on Thursday with training camp opening up in late July.
