Shedeur Sanders' Sister Trending Before The 2025 NFL Draft

Shedeur Sanders is arguably the most talked-about prospect leading into the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft Thursday night.

Once considered to potentially be the first quarterback taken, and perhaps the first overall pick, Sanders' landing spot is now much more up in the air. There's an outside chance he could still go as high as No, 3 to the New York Giants, but if the Giants take Penn State pass rusher Abdul Carter as expected, Sanders may fall to the Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 21--or even beyond that.

"I’m built for whatever today may bring," Shedeur tweeted on Thursday afternoon.

One person who will be watching keenly to see where the University of Colorado star winds up is his sister Shelomi. Shelomi, 21, is the youngest of Deion Sanders' five children; Shedeur and Shilo are her older siblings, with Deion Jr. and Deiondra her older half-siblings from Deion's first marriage.

Like Shedeur and Shilo, Shelomi was also an athlete for the Colorado Buffaloes, suiting up for the women's basketball team during the 2023-24 season after beginning her college career at Jackson State, where her brothers also played football.

After appearing in only seven games at JSU and Colorado, Shelomi, a 5-foot-6 guard, transferred to Alabama A&M, where she played in 26 games off the bench for the Bulldogs, who finished 21-11 and reached the WNIT.

Shelomi averaged 1.2 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game for Alabama A&M. She will have one more year to play in 2025-26.

While Shelomi has plenty of support from her father and other family members, all eyes are on Shedeur tonight and potentially tomorrow.

Once he hears his name called, attention will shift to see if Shilo Sanders, who played safety at Colorado, gets drafted this weekend. If he doesn't, the 25-year-old defensive back is likely to be a priority free agent for some NFL franchise.

The 2025 NFL Draft will get underway at 8 p.m. ET tonight from Green Bay, Wisconsin.
