With the NFL’s full schedule release set for tomorrow (May 14), early reveals started a day early. It's official with two former Colorado Buffaloes superstars taking the international stage.
Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders will be featured in separate NFL International Series games this fall. The duo will have interesting matchups both in London.
Hunter, who made history as the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft to the Jacksonville Jaguars, could suit up across the pond on October 19 in Week 7 when the Jaguars face the Los Angeles Rams at Wembley Stadium.
Widely considered the most decorated player in college football history, Hunter captured eight major awards last season and finished his career at Colorado with nearly 2,000 receiving yards, 21 total touchdowns, and seven interceptions while playing both sides of the ball. His selection matched the highest in CU history, joining Bo Matthews (1974), and set a new standard as the highest-drafted cornerback ever.
Sanders, who surprisingly slid to the fifth round of the draft where he was picked by the Cleveland Browns, will also get a London spotlight. The Browns will take on the Minnesota Vikings on October 5 in Week 5 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Despite the fall in draft stock, Sanders has arrived in Cleveland and looked great during rookie minicamp over the weekend. He left Boulder as the program’s most prolific passer, rewriting over 100 school records. Now in a quarterback room featuring Joe Flacco and rookie Dillon Gabriel, Sanders is turning heads and hopes to carve out a role this season.
