The Michigan Wolverines are one of the most popular college football teams in the longstanding EA Sports College Football video game series, a legacy that includes three straight instances of Wolverines on the game's cover.
This week, EA Sports debuted its latest College Football 26 video game with Michigan freshman QB Bryce Underwood and former star QB Denard Robinson both making the cut as cover athletes.
On Thursday, Michigan coach Sherrone Moore shed additional light on Wolverines coaches that will be "In The Game" during the 2026 football season in a post that was shared to his Instagram account.
The Michigan coaches will be part of a new feature intended to raise the profile of the college football coaching ranks across the country.
"Coaches are in the game," Moore posted to his Instagram story on Thursday as he revealed that he and two others are part of EA Sports' latest feature.
Moore, offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey and defensive coordinator Wink Martindale will represent the Wolverines in the game, which is scheduled to be released on July 10, 2025.
The game will also include Underwood, the nation's top incoming freshman and a new roster of players and coaches from teams across the country.
The game's top two cover athletes are Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Ryan Williams and Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, representing teams that Michigan defeated last season during an 8-5 year in the Big Ten and later at the ReliaQuest bowl in Tampa.
Michigan will kick off the 2025 regular season in Ann Arbor at 7:30 p.m. ET against the New Mexico Lobos, led by head coach Jason Eck, who joined the program in December 2024.
