Shilo Sanders Makes Browns Request After Shedeur Sanders QB Decision

Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders will make his second NFL start on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

The former Colorado Buffaloes star was selected in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. However, he was named the QB3 at the start of the season with veteran Joe Flacco and rookie Dillon Gabriel ahead of him on the depth chart.

Flacco was traded to the Cincinnati Bengals, and Gabriel was named the starter before suffering a concussion in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Sanders then started in Week 12 against the Las Vegas Raiders and was named the starter again, even with Gabriel being cleared from concussion protocol.

It's a happy time for the Sanders family, and on Thanksgiving Day, Shedeur and Shilo Sanders were together with their mom, Pilar.

A video surfaced of Shilo making fun of Shedeur for studying film ahead of the game.

Then, Shilo led a prayer for the meal and had a request.

"Please allow Shedeur to do his best, so he can pull some strings and get me on the Browns, too. And please make No. 21 available, somehow," Shilo said.

Shilo also asked for Shedeur to throw for 500 passing yards, but Shedeur only wanted the win on Sunday.

The Sanders brothers were teammates in Colorado with their father, Deion Sanders, as the head coach.

Shilo went undrafted but signed a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Before Week 1, he was cut by the Buccaneers, and it came after Shilo was ejected in a preseason game for throwing a punch against the Buffalo Bills.

Shilo Sanders has not been able to get back into the NFL since then, but he seems to be hoping that his brother can find a way to get him to join the Browns as well.
