Shilo Sanders landed new representation that helped him secure a deal after the 2025 NFL Draft.
The linebacker watched his brother and former Colorado teammate, Shedeur Sanders, slide to the fifth round before he went undrafted. On Saturday night, Shilo Sanders landed a prominent new agent.
Drew Rosenhaus announced that he added Sanders as a client. He posted a graphic that read, "Welcome to the family, Shilo Sanders."
Around the same time Sanders aligned with Rosenhaus, he signed a contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In 2023, Shilo Sanders transferred to Colorado to play with his brother and father, head coach Deion Sanders. He registered 70 tackles, four forced fumbles, and a pick-six in his junior year.
Last season, Shilo tallied 67 tackles with a sack and returned one of his two fumble recoveries for a touchdown.
Shilo Sanders didn't officially hire an agent during the pre-draft process. He instead let his father guide him. During a draft live stream, Shilo joked about firing Coach Prime when teasing his new hire.
"Dad was our agent, but that hasn't been working out too good," Shilo said. "So today I had to sign with an agent."
Many observers were shocked to see Shedeur Sanders fall to pick No. 144, where the Cleveland Browns made him their second quarterback drafted. While the quarterback began the draft cycle as a likely first-round pick, his older brother never gained much traction as a probable draft choice.
Shilo playfully wondered how Shedeur's slide would impact his chances.
"I don't even know what they're gonna do with me, bro," Shilo told Shedeur. "'Cause they doing you like this. If they making him wait, oh buddy."
When the draft concluded without hearing his name called, Shilo noted that fellow safeties Ryan Clark and Reed Blankenship also went undrafted. He ensured those viewing the live stream that they hadn't heard the last from him.
"It is what it is, bro," Shilo said. "I got to go signed. I need to go talk to Coach Prime so I can talk to a team real quick."
