The exodus from Jimbo Fisher's disappointing Texas A&M football team is astonishing.

Per On3, the Aggies — who finished 5-7 in 2022 — lead college football with players who transferred out with 27.
Of those players, six are from the much-ballyhooed top recruiting class of 2022. Cornerback Denver Harris and WR Chris Marshall were five-star recruits. Harris left for LSU, and Marshall is heading to Ole Miss.
Harris played in five games for the Aggies, totaling 14 tackles and three passes defended. Marshall played in six games and had 11 receptions for 108 yards.
Cornerback Marquis Grove-Killebrew transferred to Louisville, and fellow four-star recruits Ish Harris (LB), PJ Williams (OT) and Smoke Bouie (DB) are in the portal but undecided on their futures.
All six players leaving played sparingly in 2022.
It hasn't been all bad news for Fisher, who has added a former five-star recruit in cornerback Tony Grimes and a former four-star recruit in safety Sam McCall.
Grimes was a big contributor for the Tar Heels defense the past three seasons, playing in 32 games. He left North Carolina with 97 career tackles, a sack, an interception and 19 passes defended.
McCall was primarily used as a special teams player at Florida State. During his freshman year in 2022, he played in eight games and had eight kick returns for 142 yards. He added five tackles, one pass defended and a forced fumble on defense.
A year ago, Texas A&M was on top of the recruiting world. The decisions of the six hyped 2022 recruits to transfer — along with 21 others — could be signs the program is teetering.
